My goal in doing any piece of artwork is to move the viewer in some way. I aspire to make people stop in their tracks, step into my world, and experience a new insight -- one that illuminates the joy and happiness implicit in all things, even the mundane. I believe that beauty is in everything and everyone and, as a result, I strive not to glamorize, but to depict the city's natural vibrancy and hidden intimacies.
